Which class do I need?

When should I take the 16-hour class?
Your agency tells you when, so apply first. CCW Prep walks you through the application.
Do I need my own handgun?
Yes. You qualify with each handgun you want on your permit. Rentals aren't available, so bring each handgun you plan to carry.
Can two people sign up together?
Yes. Choose the 2 students option when you enroll.
Can non-California residents take your classes?
Yes. Our online 16-hour course is for non-residents.
How old do I need to be?
CCW applicants must be 21 or older.
