The California Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit Course - Initial is designed to fulfill the requirements mandated by SB-2, your County Sheriff's Department (Riverside County, Los Angeles Police Department), and State of California Department of Justice for applicants wishing to get their initial License to Carry Concealed Pistol, Revolver, or Other Firearm Within the State of California. It provides comprehensive training on firearm safety, laws, and regulations specific to California for individuals seeking to obtain their concealed weapons license. This course covers topics such as firearm safety, handling, marksmanship, legal responsibilities, and situational awareness to ensure students are prepared to safely and responsibly carry a concealed weapon in the state of California.

What you will learn:

• Understanding Firearm Safety

  Gain an in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations governing the concealed carry of weapons in California. It is your responsibility to know these laws if you are looking to obtain a concealed handgun permit.
• Enhancing Marksmanship Skills
  Improve your accuracy and precision with practical marksmanship training tailored to California CCW requirements.

Saturday 5/16/2026 and Sunday 5/17/2026, 8am - 5pm

Saturday 5/23/2026 and Sunday 5/24/2026, 8am - 5pm

This course consists of a classroom portion and a live fire portion. The classroom portion of this course may take place at our classroom in Lake Forest or Anaheim Hills. You will receive information about the classroom location prior to class date.

The live fire portion of this class takes place at one of the shooting ranges below:

• Raahauge Shooting Enterprises, located at 14995 River Rd., Corona, CA 92880
